Black-History.com is a founder-led publication in its founding phase. The founding editor holds editorial authority over all content published on the site and is accountable for the sourcing and fact-checking standards described in our Editorial Standards. A full masthead will be published at public launch.

Black-History.com launches in Phase 1 as a founder-led publication. The editorial team expands in Phase 2 as subscription revenue enables full-time hiring. Roles listed below represent planned editorial positions.
The advisory board provides subject-matter guidance on editorial standards, HBCU research methodology, and educational program design. Advisory board members do not have editorial authority over published content.
Advisory board formation is in progress. We are recruiting historians specializing in Reconstruction and the Civil Rights era, active HBCU faculty and administrators, K-12 curriculum specialists, and experts in digital humanities and archival research.

The nonprofit foundation that will operate the educational programs of Black-History.com is being formed and will be governed by a separate board of directors. Board membership will be disclosed on this page once the foundation is established.
